Moving To End Sexual Assault

Please join us for Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA)’s premier fundraising event Brave, Bold and Beautiful being held on October 20, 2022 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Nissi’s in Lafayette.

This year is especially significant as MESA is commemorating 50 years of serving as Boulder County’s only sexual violence resource center. Brave, Bold and Beautiful is a way to gather with family and friends, enjoy the entertainment, and hear about MESA’s vision for the future.

On the registration form, there is an option to purchase a ticket to sponsor a survivor’s attendance at Brave, Bold and Beautiful. Not able to attend? Please consider making a donation instead.

The evening will include:

· Our emcee is Dominique Christina, an award-winning author, poet, performer, and actor/screenwriter for the HBO series High Maintenance. She holds five national slam poetry titles and will be performing a slam poem live during the evening’s activities.

· Our featured speaker is Anne Munch, former prosecutor and attorney of over 30 years, a Lakewood municipal court judge, and subject matter expert to all branches of the U.S. military. She has trained law enforcement, prosecution, and victim advocate audiences in 49 states, Asia, and Europe. She is the former director of Colorado’s Ending Violence Against Women Project, and a keynote speaker at national and international conferences on violence against women.

· A silent auction, a wine pull, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.

· Our musical guest is Rebecca Folsom Band whose truly elevated selection of songs will uplift and inspire you. Full of hope, deeper perspectives, and amazing musicianship, this Colorado favorite will bring the evening to a fulfilling close.
