NELSON RANGELL

Tickets available Aug 1 9:00am

Jazziz magazine writes that Nelson Rangell is “an artist of depth, a master of song, and an improviser non pareil.” The Times of London notes “his extraordinary facility on a range of instruments” and Rangell’s “considerable crowd pleasing power”. Saxophone Journal writes “He commands the alto saxophone with such authority there can be no denying that Rangell is a true artist." Such praise is a confirmation of what contemporary jazz fans have known since the Denver based saxophonist emerged in the late 80s: that Rangell is one of the most exciting and diverse performers in the genre, equally adept at soprano, alto, and tenor saxophone, as well as being a genuine virtuoso on flute and piccolo.

MICHAEL MORROW &
THE CULPRITS
&
HALFWAY THERE
"A Tribute to Bon Jovi"

MICHAEL MORROW & THE CULPRITS are a venerable band that have played the Colorado region since 2012. With 3 albums to boast, they deliver an undeniable classic rock sound mixing in timeless classics along with their own material. Michael’s songwriting produces catchy hooks with the band delivering great harmonies and masterful leads from Craig Jahns. Tim Elliott, founder of Drumming Up Hope a non-profit charity, shines on the drums while solidifying the backup vocals. Steve Haywood, the recent addition on bass, hails from the UK bringing his years of experience as a vocalist and basswork.

Halfway There is a tribute to the music of Bon Jovi the pop-metal superstars who with their 1986 blockbuster Slippery When Wet and its hit singles “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” and “Living on a Prayer,” changed the face of Rock and Roll. Bon Jovi wound up transcending the big-haired ’80s, withstanding changes in style and sound to become one of the biggest American rock bands of their time — selling over 120 million albums worldwide and sustaining their popularity well into the new millennium and became second only to Bruce Springsteen in defining the sound and spirit of New Jersey rock & roll.

“BOSTON” Just the name stirs the imagination and the heart as one of the most quintessential and popular classic rock bands of all time. “Smokin’” is the Colorado tribute band that has dedicated themselves to the challenging task of faithfully reproducing the energetic, textured and melodic music that many have loved since the 70’s. The soaring guitars, the swirling keyboards, the lush melodic vocals are all part of the Boston recipe. Smokin’ is comprised of seasoned musicians many of which have or had played in other tributes like Paradise Theatre, Rush Archives, Project Foreigner, KISS’m, Van Who’len, and more. Smokin’ is fueled up and their “guitarship” is poised to liftoff this summer and fall in grand fashion! Be sure to be part of that magic and get in on the excitement, strumming your air guitars and belting out all the hits with the band!

An Evening with
MIKE MASSE

Mike Masse is an internationally acclaimed acoustic artist, known for his epic performances of classic rock covers. He initially became known for his repertoire of covers posted on his YouTube channel, which now has over 200,000 subscribers and over 60 million views. The success of that channel allowed him to quit his job as a public defender, and move his family to Denver to become a full-time musician. He can be seen performing at events around the country and the world including recent sold-out shows in the U.S. and Europe. Mike has performed live as a vocalist with former and original members of the band Boston, doing a set of all classic Boston songs, some of the most challenging rock vocals ever recorded. Join Mike for this memorable evening of music in a intimate setting.

NELSON RANGELL

Tickets available Sept 26 9:00am
