ROBERT JOHNSON & THE
MARK DIAMOND TRIO

Enjoy a very special evening with that special someone. We’ll be serving a three-course dinner off our special Valentines Menu and the evening will be filled with the music of Robert Johnson and the Mark Diamond Trio. this band was initially created for a residency at the jazz club Nocturne, in Denver, CO. The performances were so successful, enjoyed by both the audience and band members alike, that the band decided to continue performing together. Scott Martin on piano, Dru Heller on drums, and Mark Diamond on bass, form the foundation for the amazing vocals of Robert Johnson, who was a member of Stevie Wonder’s band for five years. Robert’s voice soars, croons, scats, melts you into your seat, and at times makes you get up and dance! This group plays wonderfully arranged jazz standards as well as a variety of other genres from Brazilian Bossa Novas to some down home Blues. Don’t be surprised when you hear The Stylistics and Stevie Wonder, too!

Cass Clayton Band – Cass Clayton is known for her smoky 3-octave vocal range and big, bluesy voice, as well as her slide guitar playing. She was recently voted as one of the top three vocalists and top three slide guitar players in Colorado (Colorado Blues Society, Members’ Choice Awards 2017). Cass Clayton Band featuring Taylor Scott, is the culmination of a songwriting and composing collaboration that led Cass and Taylor into the studio to record their own originals in 2017 and into the present. Their complementary music tastes began to evolve into music they both loved that didn’t fit in any particular box. Their combined influences of blues, funk, jazz, gospel and rock came together in an undefinable way.

The Substitutes are one of the few, if not the only, all WHO cover bands in the Western and Central United States. In fact, most other WHO tribute acts are just that, bands that engage in looking and acting like members of The WHO. The Subs are not as concerned with the visual duplication of the band as they work more towards recreating the quality and energy of the music, bringing both live and studio elements to the mix.

The Strange Parade is the Doors concert experience, live and revived. Not a single song is a copy of an album recording; everything the band does is inspired by the live direction of the original group.
