Montgomery/
Herman/
Lewis Sextet

Genre: Jazz
Doors: 6:00pm
Show: 7:00pm

Free Admission

The Bob Montgomery/Al Hermann/Pete Lewis Sextet presents improvised music in a very unique manner, utilizing four and five part harmony (trumpet, trombone, saxophone, piano, bass and drums) on the melodies of the tunes plus what audiences have called a rather “conversational” approach to their improvisation.
Rather than the typical “soloist/accompanist “ presentation this sextet demonstrates a “group” effort with the soloist of the moment becoming the “moderator” of the improvisational dialogue. Audiences become very involved in the musical experience and their energy is mirrored in the sextets performance. Bob Montgomery’s unique arrangements provide wonderful springboards into the improvisational waters of this sextets music.
The Sextet performs the same original music, standards and jazz standards that they perform in their concert tours throughout the world. You can expect to hear music that you are familiar with done in a unique manner as well as music that you are not familiar with that may become your new favorite listening experience.

7TH Heaven

Genre: Rock
Doors: 6:30pm
Show: 7:30pm

Free Admission

7th Heaven formed when drummer, Billy Hoke and vocalist, Cass Clayton began to fantasize about a band that would have the creative freedom to blend rock, country, blues and American classics into something new. As some of their favorite musicians were drawn to the project, a unique sound began to come together that can only be described as hard-hitting rock, country-ish, bluesy, voodoo funk magic. Just kidding, but it is a little hard to describe the alchemy that happens when they come together with their various influences. The combination of two phenomenal lead guitar players, powerhouse vocals and harmonies, soulful pedal steel guitar, slide guitar, funky bass, and kicking’ drums makes for a band in its own class.
