Shack and the Bachs play a mix of Shack’s original tunes along with classic and modern blues, soul, and various other related musical styles. Scott “Shack” Hackler is an award winning keyboardist, songwriter, and singer. He was a finalist at the 2019 International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis as a solo artist. Guitarist Michael Hossler is also an IBC finalist, finishing third overall as a member of the Afrossippi band in 2013. The formidable rhythm section of drummer Tim Molinaro and bassist RD Jones, both natives of Detroit, are long-standing members of the Colorado music scene.
