Deborah Stafford & The Night Stalkers
The Night Stalkers is the dream band I have always wanted to put together. During the pandemic things seemed to be stalled with Deborah Stafford & The State of Affairs, so in late 2021 when the Colorado Blues Society decided to resume having a Blues Challenge I knew that this was my opportunity to do somethiing new. After many calls, dropouts, regroupings and almost giving up, I finally had my band. I love a Blues band with a horn section and so I was determined to make it work. We only had a few songs I had written years ago to start with, but I wrote more and my horn players helped me with adding horns to some tunes I already did. There is always more work to do, but I’m excited to go the The International Blues Challenge in Memphis 2022 with what we have. This is a truly great group and I think we could go all the way to the Orpheum!

A Denver based blues band, fronted by guitarslinger and shouter, Tony Luke. A rockin’, swingin, butt-bumpin, rock and roll, rhythm and blues experience, that is always exciting and energetic.
