Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Alex Marley began songwriting at an early age and has grown into a multi-faceted musician, singing and strumming the melodies of roots, rock, and reggae. Following in the footsteps of his cousin, the legendary reggae artist Bob Marley, Alex has emerged as a live concert phenomenon in his own right. He has toured 35 U.S. states, and his global performances include stages and stadiums in Jamaica, West Africa, Egypt, Abu Dhabi, Prague, and Colombia.

Guided by the teachings of Rastafari, Alex is on a mission to create music with a message that spreads positivity. He has a style that appeals to all walks of life, but he is particularly interested in reaching and enriching the lives of youths through his music, his messages that impart social awareness, and various outreach programs in Jamaica.
